Our retention inserts are manufactured to exact tolerances to provide consistent snap and longevity. We offer a comprehensive color-coded system to manage retention levels* and implant divergence.

Standard Range (0° - 10° Divergence)

  • Blue: Extra Light Retention
  • Pink: Light Retention
  • White: Medium Retention

Extended Range (10° - 20° Divergence per Implant)

  • Yellow: Zero Retention
  • Red: Extra Light Retention
  • Orange: Light Retention
  • Green: Medium Retention

*Exact retention levels typically range between 1.5lbs for Extra Light Retention inserts and 5lbs for High Retention inserts; however, actual retention values may vary depending on your patient's exact case (number of attachments, angulation, denture flange design, patient's dexterity, etc.). Therefore we recommend starting with lower retention inserts and increasing until the prosthesis is secure but can be removed by the patient or a care taker with moderate effort.
